Job Description Customer Services and Information Technology Officer

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Mission Customer Services and Information Technology Officer supporting the customer, you will be trusted analyze internal and external customer needs. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Password resets and/or granting share drive access.
- Submitting new accounts/group accesses.
- Managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Detailed oriented, as well as, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making.
Experience with TCP/IP and general networking issues.
Experience providing superior customer service and support.
Experience in communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure.
Experience with Data transfer services; Data Transfer Officer.
Experience with ticket tracking, closing, and escalating issues; assisting in installing peripheral IT items and access administration.
Strong interpersonal and organization skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware/software.
Experience in excellent listening and writing skills.
Ability to work independently; and manage multiple task assignments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate how to use an application, system, etc. to customers of various levels (i.e. junior to senior).
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Minimum of 10 years related experience.
- CMA required.
- Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Education BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Qualifications 10+ years of related experience
