The qualified physician will work collaboratively with experienced Nurse Practitioners, a comprehensive cancer team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, Plastic Surgeons, Gynecologists, referring Primary Care doctors and their associated staff members. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Established, NAPBC-accredited, comprehensive Breast Program that includes integrated care management, experienced Nurse Practitioner support, high risk program, a Certified Genetic Counselor, image recovery, 3D imaging, MRI guided biopsy, bone Dexa scans, Savi-Scout and Scinti Molecular Breast Imaging Technology. Beautiful, sunny, free standing Women's Health Center located on the hospital campus with state-of the art equipment and technology as well as immediately adjacent free parking. In-house support from a 5-physician Medical Oncology practice, a progressive Radiation Oncology practice with HDR, Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) for left-sided breast cancers, Pathology, Radiology (fellowship trained Mammographer), and Plastic Surgery. Lead the breast steering committee and breast tumor board, actively participate in cancer committee and serve on the Blue Ridge Oncology Council. da Vinci Surgical System on-site by 2019.
